Universal education provides students with the development and change that will continue throughout their lives. In this system, what is more important than the accumulation of knowledge is to provide students with the ability to think critically. In short, education should ensure the formation of a new culture in students. Contemporary art theory enables students to conduct research in a wide range of creative, cultural and historical contexts through speculative, literary, philosophical, organizational, social and economic means. The creation of an art environment in a university is the most important condition for the development of the pedagogical position of every future teacher. The essence of art pedagogy is education. The education and development of individuals through art ensures the formation of the foundations of artistic culture and the specialization of practical skills. An education system that takes liberal arts as an example gives great importance to the personal development of its graduates, develops critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students, and produces graduates who can express their free thoughts skillfully, prepare themselves for the economic environment where flexibility and adaptability are much more valuable qualities in a changing and developing world and can easily find their way. The basis of the mission of modern education is to provide the necessary conditions for the individual to determine his/her own destiny and realize himself/herself. The article reflects the problems, tasks and pedagogical relations in the methodology of contemporary art teaching. Therefore, the creative activity of art students should teach them to have their own opinions, their own point of view, to think independently and develop ideas, analyze, compare and work creatively. Our study is a compilation study created by scanning written and internet sources. The main purpose of the study is to investigate the answer to the question of how modern education in contemporary art should be. In today's world where information exchange has accelerated with the development of technology, there are no more strict and definite rules as in the past, and original thought has become dominant in every field. This approach has also manifested itself in art education and a modern education model has emerged in contemporary art. In this model, educators should keep up with the new world, update themselves and their education programs. Contemporary art education should be made attractive to students, they should be encouraged to research and they should be supported to think freely. The basic mission of contemporary art education is to ensure that students who receive art education understand and find themselves, and realize that the problems concern not only ourselves but also the world society. Brecker was highly praised in jazz circles from the late 70s onwards and appeared in many performances and recordings until his death in 2007. Brecker's performance of Giant Steps (1992) is important in many ways.  Composed by John Coltrane, who is of great historical importance, this piece contains many difficulties in terms of performance due to the constant change of the tonal center and the fact that it is performed at a very fast tempo. Because jazz performance is based on improvisation, and because of the necessity of instantaneous tonal shifts and the need for melodic solo lines (horizontal lines) to progress in harmony with chord progressions (vertical lines), it requires a great deal of knowledge in terms of music theory and harmony. In this context, “chromaticism” or “chromaticism”, which refers to a melody or harmony structure that progresses with single pitch intervals (in the “well-tempered” system where an octave is divided into 12 equal parts), becomes important. Chromatic scales, which are each very convenient material for increasing timbral diversity and creating variations in chordal transitions, have been accepted as an element that enriches the relatively “limited” structure of diatonic scales.  In this way, the music temporarily moves away from the tonal center, and a more “complex” and “richer” harmony, a universe of sound, emerges. In this article, it is aimed to evaluate the chromatic phrase structures encountered in jazz music with the example of Brecker's Giant Steps solo. In this direction, the importance of chromaticism in jazz and bebop styles is emphasized in the introduction, and the results are obtained by analyzing the chromatic connections and approaches in the solo. As a result, alternatives of using chromaticism in the solo are identified, and accordingly, the importance of the solo in bebop repertoire and jazz school is emphasized. In violin pedagogy, études play a significant role in enhancing both the technical skills and artistic expression of performers. The works of prominent composers such as F. Benda, F. Fiorillo, R. Kreutzer, and N. Paganini are considered foundational elements of modern violin education in this context. The study seeks to shed light on the rational use of pedagogical approaches by understanding the dynamics of these works within the historical process. The importance of this research lies in demonstrating how the systematic use of études in the development of both technical and artistic skills can enhance students' performance abilities. Études should not only be regarded as technical exercises but also as tools for musical expression, and attention should be paid to musical phrasing during practice. This approach not only strengthens students' technical development but also supports their musical thinking abilities. The study is based on a qualitative research model, focusing on the examination of historical sources and violin methods. During the data collection process, literature on violin education and performance practices was reviewed. In this regard, the pedagogical use of études is evaluated in relation to musical performance practice. The research provides recommendations on how études can be systematically utilized in violin pedagogy, contributing to modern educational methods. In conclusion, the study emphasizes that études are an indispensable resource in violin pedagogy, both from an educational and artistic perspective. The application group of the research consists of music teachers working in Samsun province under the Ministry of National Education. The development process of the scale started with the review of the relevant literature and the creation of an item pool. The item pool was evaluated by presenting it to the expert opinions and making a preliminary application. As a result of the preliminary application, it was determined that the scale was comprehensible in terms of language, did not cause difficulty in answering and was appropriate in terms of response time. After this process, the scale was finalised to consist of 3 dimensions and 20 questions in total. The application group of the developed scale consisted of 117 music teachers in total. Exploratory Factor Analysis was performed for data analysis and it was seen that the scale was suitable for factor analysis. The scale has three dimensions as "Technological Integration Resistance", "Perceived Benefits of Technology" and "Technological Competence". The reliability of the scale was calculated as 0.9 with Cronbach Alpha coefficient. As a result, in this study, a reliable and valid "Attitude Scale towards the Use of Technology in Music Lessons" was developed to measure music teachers' attitudes towards the use of technology in music lessons. This scale can be used as an important tool in evaluating music teachers' attitudes towards the use of technology in music lessons. In this way, it will be possible to determine the use of technology in order to ensure the use of technology in music teachers' lessons and to carry out the necessary scale development studies. The research is a qualitative field research in survey model. In data collection, the views of music teachers were obtained through a semi-structured interview technique developed by the researcher, using an interview form consisting of a total of 6 questions. The qualitative data obtained in the study were analyzed through content analysis / descriptive analysis. The findings were interpreted and presented. Coding technique was used to transform the data into findings. The study group of the research consisted of the Ticaret Borsası, Prof. Dr. Orhan Oğuz Anatolian High School, Fahri Günay Secondary School Dr. Safa Halaç Specia”l Education Secondary School, which were randomly selected in the 2022-2023 academic year in Eskişehir province.
