However, with the advent of technical possibilities, the concept of recorded music has also emerged, which is used for folk dance performances recorded in studios and presented on various platforms. At this point, it is dance performances. The scope of the study consists of semi-structured personal interviews with fifteen (15) individuals who have worked as educators-choreographers, music arrangers, and musicians in the field of folk dances. The data in the study were obtained using qualitative research methods and semi-structured interviews. Concepts such as dance, play, and folk dances were researched, and a literature review was conducted on the staging process of Turkish Folk Dances. By questioning the instruments, musicians, and approaches to music preferred during studio performances, the study aimed to identify the differences between recorded performances and live performances, as well as the reasons and effects of these differences. The obtained data were discussed under two subheadings, live performance and studio performance, along with their justifications, highlighting both positive and negative aspects. By the last quarter of the 12th century, the Kingdom of Jerusalem had weakened due to internal conflicts and unstable governance, rendering it vulnerable to Saladin’s strategic maneuvers. Taking advantage of this situation, Saladin successfully unified the Muslim world and launched a decisive campaign against the Crusaders. The article provides a detailed analysis of Saladin’s diplomatic initiatives, military strategies, and the composition of his army. Saladin’s military tactics, which heavily relied on mobile cavalry and mounted archers, proved highly effective against the Crusaders' heavily armored forces. His use of feigned retreats, control over water sources, and psychological warfare were key elements that paved the way for his victory at Hattin. This triumph was not merely a battlefield success; it also marked a turning point that significantly undermined Crusader dominance in the region and facilitated the conquest of Jerusalem. Additionally, the article explores the ethnic diversity within Saladin’s army, the contrasting narratives presented in Crusader and Islamic sources, and the broader military aspects of his campaigns. Finally, it discusses the long-term consequences of Saladin’s victory, particularly its impact on the medieval Islamic world, the trajectory of the Crusades, and his legacy as a leader known for both his military acumen and his policy of tolerance following the conquest of Jerusalem. The most important danger that awaits a person who is obliged to socialize by nature in the socialization process is losing his/her originality. At this point, the problem we encounter in the context of a person's originality and freedom is how social views or public opinions affect a person. The concept of public opinion, which we can call the sum of the opinions that are constantly changing in our environment and can affect a person's attitudes and behaviors, is tried to be based on the effects of social norms on people's thoughts and behaviors. The reason for this is that a person is sensitive to the general opinions of the environment he/she lives in. In the socialization process, where emotional needs such as love, success, and being cared for are met, a person needs to make sacrifices in order for the communication with the environment to be balanced. The most important element that the environment expects from a person while meeting his/her emotional needs is to act in accordance with social opinions. The fact that the concept of public opinion has significant effects on people brings up the discussion that the masses can be directed by means of artificially created public opinion. In this context, it is possible to say that throughout history, those in power have managed to direct society by using force or by means of produced public opinion. In the context of power and public opinion effects, one of the most well-known truths of the science of communication, the information that people act in accordance with public opinion, is sought in the play called Midas's Ears. In this article, the effects of public opinion effects on the characters of the play will be conceptually discussed in the selected text connection focuses from the play text, which narrates in a fairy-tale language that even gods and kings have to comply with public opinion. Since the concept of public opinion is of interest to many academic disciplines, each discipline has its own definitions. Since there is no agreed definition, information will be given about the etymology of the word public opinion. In relation to our study period, these groups, who played important roles in making Anatolia a Turkish homeland, took part in the establishment of many principalities and states. In addition to their mobile lifestyles, they also played prominent roles in social events and many political and economic activities. Especially in the last periods of the Seljuk period, especially when the Turkmens fleeing from the Mongol invasion took refuge in Anatolia, the settlement of these groups and the continuation of their lifestyles emerged as an important issue. In the environment of disorder and chaos that emerged in Anatolia with the Mongol invasion, these Turkmen groups attracted the attention of political focal points with their military skills and traditions. However, the environment of insecurity that developed with the disappearance of the central authority also manifested itself in the fields of production and marketing and brought other problems in the continuation of daily life. Although the Ahi organization, which can be described as an artisan organization, was more effective in cities and towns, it was also effective among the nomads both in the period of the principalities and in the Ottoman period. Although the main goal was to help the nomads learn different professions and to settle them, the ahi organization was also effective in developing a common understanding of production and consumption, in other words, in developing the idea of a common world. Both scholars were influenced by the astronomer Ptolemy, who was influential in the field of astronomy at the time. They studied and developed Ptolemy's work on astronomy. They expressed their agreement and disagreement with the ideas written in this work. They made observations and wrote down these observations. They participated in the astronomy studies of the period and helped develop Islamic astronomy with these studies. The works they have written have also been read by other scholars. These written works have been translated and printed in different languages in Europe. The works of these scholars were read and benefited not only in their own periods but also in the periods after them. They revealed new terms and information in the fields of mathematics and astronomy. This article examines the lives, works and influences of these two scholars. Thanks to its rich cultural diversity, Turkey has the potential to utilize traditional elements like folk dances in tourism. This study aims to analyze how Turkish folk dances are utilized in the tourism sector and to determine how this cultural asset can be marketed more effectively within the context of tourism enterprises. This conceptual study, prepared through a literature review of secondary sources using the compilation method, identifies that Turkish folk dances are primarily promoted in the tourism sector through "Turkish Night" events organized in accommodation facilities. However, it has been emphasized that these events often possess a superficial, repetitive structure that fails to reflect cultural authenticity. It is concluded that Turkish folk dances should be regarded not only as a means of entertainment in tourism but also as a tool for cultural narrative and authenticity. The findings of the study reveal that folk dances play a significant role in welcoming tourists and entertaining them by transferring cultural heritage. In this context, presenting Turkish folk dances in all-inclusive tourism systems, such as hotel animation programs, while preserving their authenticity, is of great importance for cultural sustainability. In conclusion, it is necessary to organize certification programs and training workshops to enhance the competence of animators regarding folk dances, and to establish a standard that preserves the authenticity of regional costumes, music, and dances. This standard should be determined through joint efforts of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Turkish Folk Dance Federation, and relevant non-governmental organizations. Furthermore, more academic studies examining the impacts and applications of folk dances in the tourism sector are needed, focusing particularly on their effects on destination promotion and tourist satisfaction. Accurate representation of Turkish folk dances contributes to the development of cultural tourism while ensuring the intergenerational transmission of cultural heritage and allowing tourists not only to enjoy themselves but also to experience and understand the culture of folk dances.
