This study generalizes the model by making all the time-dependent parameters as time-dependent parameters. The model examines dynamic interactions among economic growth, structural change, international trade and tourist flows. It introduces endogenous tourism within a general dynamic equilibrium framework. The model integrates the three well-known Solow growth model, Oniki-Uzawa trade model, and the Uzawa two-sector model, and introduces tourist flows between national economies. We simulate the model to demonstrate existence of equilibrium points, motion of the dynamic system, and oscillations due to different exogenous shocks. It encouraged trade as long as it was beneficial to its economy and took precautions for the healthy operation of commercial activities. It is possible to examine the commercial activities of Ottoman Empire under two categories as domestic and foreign trade. In this article, our primary aim was to reflect the Ottoman Empire's approach to commercial activities. After presenting brief information about domestic and foreign trade, we have commented about the customs system, organizations of derbent and menzil, and land and sea ways which were established to provide the healthy operation of the commercial activities. On the other hand, it is also a reality that Ottoman Empire sometimes intervened economy in order to operate its economic system without any problem. However, its interventions present variations depending on the regions of the Empire. The laxity of the interventions in some regions was mostly understood as the weakness of the central government's control over that region. In this paper, we will argue that the laxity of interventions did not always refer to a decrease in the ruling power of the government. On the contrary, it was due to Ottoman administrators' interventionist approach to economy and economical usage of the ruling power. Either how to have least waste in the form of unusable small material has been studied or how to cut the material most effectively has been focused on. However, almost no research has looked into how to obtain the raw material most effectively in the most efficient sizes. However, starting the issue from its beginning and determining the most efficient sizes for the raw material and then going onto the other stages has an importance in preventing waste and lowering costs. The purpose of this study is to develop a model which will keep wastage low while helping businesses who will keep spool widths lowest gain most. For this purpose, an algorithm using Particle Swarm Optimization has been developed. In order to test the accuracy of the model, it has been applied to a firm in packaging industry and successful results has been obtained.
