Determination of disadvantages is also important in this context. The aid programs created on a global scale can also work to provide assistance to the countries according to their level of development. Such aids can also be considered as international social policy practices. Moreover, the creation of such aid agencies by many countries allows their implementation to be regarded as transnational social policy applications rather than transnational social policy. There are a number of alternate indicator designs available to ask what will be the display as a criterion of disadvantageousness. But the most popular one of the human development indexes on a global scale is the UNDP's HDI which is a multiple inequality index. This index is an important indicator in the determination of the countries to be helped. However, there are serious theoretical and statistical inadequacies in the index design process. This study focused on theoretical and statistical insufficiencies, and an alternative index design was carried out to rank and group the development of countries. Today global innovation ecosystems are in fast transition. Economic analysis has taken an interest in studying the problems associated with technological change. Adequate indicators have been identified, which make it possible to provide a coherent explanation for technological activities and their relationship with economic efficiency and activity. Although the earliest science, technology and innovation studies were focused on analysing the activities of research and development (R&D), at present the focus of analysis has shifted to another type of variable, more oriented towards the gathering of knowledge and capabilities, in which patents and trademarks provide relevant information. This empirical study analyses three trends of patent and trademark activity in Brazil, the Russian Federation, India, China and South Africa (the BRICS countries) over three decades. The study is based on World Bank data. The study covers years 1985-2015. The study is comparative country study of patent and trademark activity. The study will report the following results: (1) aggregate patent trends of the BRICS and G7 countries, and (2) trademark trends of the BRICS and G7 countries, (3) patent/trademark relationship development of the BRICS and G7 countries and (4) key relational analyses of BRICS and G7 countries. The study elaborates (5) on proportional activity of patent and trademark activity of all BRICS and G7 countries. Some comparative analyses in relation to BRICS and G7 countries are reported in the final section (Section 5). In our analysis, descriptive analysis describes previous long-run events. Descriptive analytics allow us to learn from previous events and trends. We can also use trend analysis to expect how they might affect future behaviour. Trend analysis of the study includes trend analyses of patent and trademark data, index series analyses of patent and trademark data, yearly changes analyses of patent and trademark data and finally the analysis of most recent data observation in comparison with previous data observation. This kind of basic data analysis will provide interesting insights into emerging trends and structural changes of the global innovation ecosystem. Acquisition of IP has become a key strategic tool for companies and corporations seeking to maintain and increase their markets while managing IP transactions and disputes, in particular involving ICT patents. The patent marketplace has also been transformed with the appearance of new intermediaries and business models. One key aspect of the global IPR system is that it helps STI stakeholders and companies to benefit from innovations and paying for innovations, which they need in global business. Thus, governments and public-sector organisations are also considering playing a more active role in IP markets. This article will focus on receipts and payments of intellectual property. The study will elaborate on financial receipts and payments in G7 and BRICS countries. The study is comparative analysis and provides a clear picture of global IPR trade in G7 and BRICS countries. The study is based on World Bank data. The study covers the years 1985-2015. The study is a comparative country study of financial IP flows. The study will report the following results: (1) financial flows of receipts, (2) financial flows of payments, (3) receipt/payment balance trends, (4) a comparative analysis of receipts and payments of the BRICS countries, (5) comparative analysis of receipts and payments of the G7 countries. Trend analysis of the study includes trend analyses of financial receipts and payment data, index series analyses of financial receipts and payment data, yearly changes analyses of financial receipts and payment data and finally the analysis of the latest data observation, compared to previous data observation. This comparison is based on an econometric analysis which analyzes sensitivity of the two systems to financial shocks. For this purpose the quantile VAR approach which has been recently developed by White et al.(2016) has been employed. First tail codependende hypothesis between national and international financial markets and Akbank, Garanti Bankası, İş Bank, Yapı ve Kredi Bankası and Albarakatürk, which is the sole participating bank listed in Borsa Istanbul 100 index, has been tested. Then dynamic value at risks are estimated for those banks. Finally the impact of a financial shock in Islamic, national and international financial markets on those banks? long run risk are separately analyzed using impulse response functions obtained from quantile VAR. In this study the national stock market is represented by BIST100 index, the international financial market is represented by S&P500 index and the Islamic financial market is represented by S&P500 index. The result show that Islamic banks are less affected by financial shocks than traditional financial markets. A Regional Demand Side Analysis of Convergence Clubs Abstract: The rapid progress of information and communication technologies and the improvements in road and air transport have increased not only the income levels but also the interaction of households with each other. Differences in consumption behaviors of the households across regions may be because of their income differences, if not due to their preferences. This study aims to investigate whether consumption behaviors converge together with income levels. For that purpose, we tried to identify the asymptotically perfect convergence clubs in household expenditures on 12 groups of goods and services as well as in their incomes for 26 NUTS-2 Turkish regions. The empirical results demonstrate a high number of convergence clubs, indicating a low level of convergence across the regions in terms of both consumption groups and income. In the first part, we focused on the theoretical basics of the economic dimensions of Islam and the concepts of Islamic economies/societies are examined. It should be noted that Islamic economy is essentially a set of normative values; Islamic belief and life is the existence in the practise of life that finds existence in the world of the individual. It can not be assumed aprioriely that people will live in perfect norms, that is, in a world where people love the world?s goods and can not break the world's goods. Therefore, it would be unrealistic to expect to develop relationships by imposing norms on individuals and societies. Rather, it seems more realistic to try to develop economic relations between societies, based on the shared Islamic beliefs and belief-culture partnerships. Such an effort will mean an increase in social prosperity for these societies and develop future-connections of societies and states. In the second part of the article, we focused on Turkey and headed for research to find to connection between the foreign trade and politic relations of Turkey with Islamic countries. The research shows that in the common religional belief-culture, the relations developed by Turkey with the Islamic economies reflect the influence rapidly from foreign trade to production of the country. Some of the Islamic economies are oil exporters and have high funds, while others are on the path of industrialization, out of oil exporter. In fact, some of them (Malaysia and relatively Turkey) are not only industrialisating, but also live in remarkable developments in finance. In the third part of our article, in the context of country examples, we examined the problems and interconnections of Indonesia, Turkey and Malaysia and especially, to find common ways and possible answers for countries demanding funds and suplying funds of Islamic countries, within mutual benefits. That's almost half the rate in 1983. Falling union density means a tremendous loss for workers and has given rise to greater social inequality. Since Republican Party took control both in the Congress and in the many statehouses in 2010, unions have been facing an unprecedented assault advancing to strip their collective bargaining rights and/or membership. This article aims to present an empirical picture of the severe social, organisational and financial aspects of the crisis facing trade unions in the US. But, the globole eceonomy narrowed by the negative impacts of the 2008 global financial crisis which start with Lehman Brothers' bankruptcy, and then leaping to European countries and then to other world countries. In particular, the contraction in global foreign trade volume has led to trade at lower than their potential, in many countries. For this reason, the foreign trade of Turkey has followed a similar course and the size of exports and imports has decreased in the mentioned period. It is seen that the weight of Turkey in global foreign trade in current situation is below 1% in both export and import. Turkey, representing a small part of the global foreign trade volume, has to increase its share in existing foreign trade markets and accelerate its search for new foreign trade markets in order to use its foreign trade potential.
