The fact that migration is a human-centered and multidimensional process makes it almost impossible to make a single definition that addresses all aspects of migration. In the most general way; migration can be defined as movement by people for various reasons such as economic, social, political, voluntary or compulsory and moreover displacement can be temporary or permanent. Analyzing the history it is possible to see reasons of migration have changed as well. In the beginning, the main motivations were hunger, famine and natural disasters but recently security problems and internal turmoils in the country became more prominent for migration. This study, aims to examine the impact of mass movement of Syrian refugees on Turkish economy. In addition to personal users, businesses are now marketing their products and services via social media. For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied to consumers who are social media users and 401 questionnaires were obtained.Statistical techniques such as factor analysis, reliability analysis, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Pearson correlation analysis and simple and multiple linear regression analysis were used in the analysis of the obtained data.As a result of the research, it was determined that there is a positive relationship between the social media usage efficiency of the hotel enterprises and consumer purchasing behavior. Connected devices provide retailers with the chance to help optimize operations in the expression of a more complex supply chain and a more exacting client. RFID technologies, for instance. Its impact on our daily life is really diverse. RFID technology has been gradually applied in many areas, especially in Logistics and Supply, Manufacturing, Marine Terminal Operation, Transportation, Retailing, and Warehousing. The purpose of this report is to create a framework concerning the IoT (Internet of things) implementation in Transportation, Retailing, Warehousing and Distribution Systems. Such implementation of connecting the internet based devices to each other will generate cost reduction, saving human power and increase asset velocity through enhanced transparency visibility and insights. By the uses of sensors, the power to actually monitor goods in a supply chain will go live then a supplier can expect at the balance sheet much more efficacious. As a method, a qualitative approach was employed to assess the results of this report. The outcome of this work will evaluate the pros and cons of the IoT process in the supply chain. In this article, the meaning of this concept and different ways of use are discussed. The synonymity of some terms in terms of ?labour force by occupational status? and ?labour force by occupational position? has caused confusion in the literature about the content of these concepts and still continues to cause confusion today. In the underlying groups of the concept, there are which include only ?those who are in employment? but also there are which include ?those who are not in employment?. Should this be based on a wide-ranging concept that includes those ?who are not in employment? or based on a concept that only includes ?those who are in employment?? In addition, the advantages and disadvantages of these concepts are also discussed. The concepts related to the classification of the labour force to clarify the subject were examined. Then, the composition of the labour force according to the position and status at work has been put forward. The subject of the article is defined from the terms that make up the concept and the related terms are defined and how the concept should be localized. At this point, production companies benefit from different management approaches and lean manufacturing tools. Total productive maintenance (TPM) is one of the most important approaches aimed at increasing equipment efficiency and improving production performance by eliminating six major losses. In the TPM approach, the efficiency of the machines is evaluated by a performance indicator called overall equipment efficiency (OEE). The OEE measure is calculated by multiplication of availability, performance and quality values. This measure does not take into account many variables such as energy consumption, maintenance cost, operator experience, machine life, the number of failures that affect machine efficiency. Therefore, the OEE measure alone is not sufficient to evaluate the success of TPM projects. In this study, in order to overcome this deficiency, a model based on data envelopment analysis is proposed to evaluate the equipment efficiency in a production system. The applicability of the proposed approach is illustrated with a case study with data taken from a steel producer. Additionally, the machine efficiency values obtained by data envelopment analysis is compared with the total equipment efficiency. In this context, improving competitiveness, improving the country's living standards, increasing production efficiency and increasing employment have become a prerequisite. In many developing countries, the aim of international competitiveness has prevented industrialization and poverty concerns. Today, a target change from the welfare state to the competitive state is under the influence and in the shadow of the neoliberal globalization imposed as the dominant development policy. In this study, the relationship between globalization and competition policy will be discussed in terms of developed and developing countries. Then in developed countries and Turkey competition-regulating rules are emphasized. Finally, development and common competition rules are explained as a global approach to competition policy. In the study, the competition dimension which determines the existence of the market economy for the general purpose has been examined. In addition, the policies to protect the existence of competition and legal regulations are generally discussed on US, EU and Turkey applications. This study was prepared as a literature review.
