This study was conducted to evaluate political skill as a precursor to nurses' sensitivity to persuasion strategies. In this study, descriptive, cross-sectional design method was used. It was conducted between 01 November – 31 December 2019, in a university hospital, with 590 nurses. Descriptive statistics and regression analysis were used in the analysis of the data. In this study, the strategy that nurses are most susceptibility to persuasion is Reciprocity, and the least susceptibility is Social Proof. Appearance of sincerity is effective on susceptibility to all persuasion strategies. Social Astuteness has affected the susceptibility to persuasion strategies other than the Authority strategy. Interpersonal Influence influenced susceptibility to persuasion strategy other than Liking and Scarcity. The ability to build a network affected the susceptibility to other persuasion strategies other than Reciprocation strategy. Political skill is one of the factors affecting nurses' susceptibility to persuasion strategies. It should be considered that nurses are sensitive to different persuasion strategies, and sub-dimensions of political skill affect their susceptibility to different persuasion strategies. Businesses cooperate with one or more suppliers for the products they need to keep related to the goods and services they will produce. Therefore, they want to work with strong suppliers that will both meet their needs and provide the best price for the business. Different number and quality of criteria with conflicting features affect and determine the supplier selection decision of the enterprises. In this study, supplier selection criteria were determined in the procurement of electronic products or materials, which are one of the most procured products of universities, especially in recent years and criterion weights were evaluated by the analytical hierarchy process (AHP). As a result of the analysis, the most important criteria affecting supplier selection is the service and it has been obtained that this criterion is followed by delivery, quality, price and brand, respectively. In addition, it has been found that the most important suppliers among the suppliers that make up the alternatives are Apple and Samsung. However, it is necessary to have sufficient financial resources for the provision of effective public health services. At the same time, population characteristics that will support the formation of needs also influence this. In short, it cannot be denied that public social expenditures have socioeconomic determinants. In this study, the socioeconomic factors that have a decisive feature in public health expenditures between the years 1981 and 2017 are investigated. The econometric technique used in this practice is Granger Causality analysis. Before proceeding to this analysis, the stationarity assumption is tested, and then the Granger Causality analysis is carried out. Potential determinant variables consist of thirteen variables, six of which are economic and seven are social. It is concluded that none of the six economic variables are the cause of public health expenditures. However, it is determined that three of the seven social indicators are the cause of public health expenditures with a margin of error of 5% and the remaining four with a margin of error of 10%. This situation supports that, social reasons rather than economic reasons are determinants of public health expenditures in our country. Many machine learning (ML) based systems have been improved to bring solution to the employee churn problem. The present study tries to predict employee churn using ML algorithms. From this point on, the aim of the study is to predict employee churn for organizations based on mathematical methods using machine learning. Application of information technologies in Human Resources Management in organizations, the data collected is considered as a critical factor in making decisions about employees. The sample of the study consists of 49,653 employees from different sectors. There are almost no studies using machine learning algorithms in management studies. In this sense, it is predicted that the study will fill an important gap in terms of contributing to the literature. In this paper, logistic regression, random forests, artificial neural networks and support vector machine methods were used as classification methods in the research to estimate whether an employee will quit or not. The results are compared with other Machine Learning algorithms. In the analysis, it was seen that the random forests method was found to be the most reliable machine learning with a rate of 98.7715 % in estimating the employee quitting. With this increase, more effective, efficient and economical use of public resources has become more important. The most ideal method of making expenditures in accordance with the specified rules by using public resources is through public procurements. In order to achieve objectives such as preventing corruption, ensuring financial discipline and ensuring accountability, public procurements must be conducted according to certain rules. One of the most important of these rules, which are called basic principles, is the principle of transparency, which is a prerequisite for other basic principles. In this study, the importance of the principle of transparency in public procurements has been tried to be explained through the basic issues of the procurement process. Education and health services increase the productivity and efficiency of human resources, which is a very important factor in the socio-economic development of countries. In this study, OECD countries were examined with Multi-Criteria Decision Making methods according to education and health criteria. In the study, OECD countries were evaluated and analyzed in 2015, 2016 and 2017. The importance weights of the criteria used in the evaluation of countries were determined by the AHP method. Then, OECD countries were analyzed using MCDM methods, VIKOR, COPRAS and ARAS methods. According to the results of the analysis, it has been seen that socio-economically developed countries allocate significant budgets for education and health services. The new coronavirus, which first appeared in December 2019, has affected the whole world in a short time. With the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak to almost all countries, the epidemic has become a pandemic. This pandemic, which affects countries economically, socially, and psychologically, has deeply affected many business sectors. Tourism is the industry that is affected by crises at the earliest and the most. Countries cover most of their current account deficits from the tourism industry known as smokeless chimney. The tourism industry in Turkey, which had often been affected by regional risks, is facing the effects of the pandemic now. This research aims to show the effects of COVID-19 on Turkish tourism and to evaluate the opinions, expectations, and suggestions of the employees of the industry. In line with this purpose, an online interview was conducted, and the participants were asked nine questions. At the end of the analysis, it was determined that the biggest impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the tourism industry was the significant decrease in the number of tourists due to the restrictions and the resulting large income losses. It has been determined that, following the circular issued by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, businesses took measures to obtain a Safe Tourism Certificate and provided various training to their staff. Fluctuations in macroeconomic indicators of the tourism industry in Turkey were examined. It was understood that the tourism enterprises that experienced a loss of income hope to overcome the crisis with the least damage due to the short-time working allowance, tax reductions, and incentives, and they want to proceed with marketing activities without decreasing the employment rate. The global climate crisis knocking on our door causes a decrease in agricultural areas and in turn, it affects food resources. In this process, it is expected to create awareness in the food industry. By this way, it is thought that the producer's orientation will shift towards sustainability laws. The main aim of this study is to explain the sustainable food product buying intention of consumers in different cultures in terms of the theory of planned behavior (TPB) approach. In this context, firstly, it is to find out the effects of attitudes, social norms and Perceived behavioral control (PBC) that affect consumers' purchase intention is investigated. Afterwards, the influence of collectivism, one of Hofstede's cultural approaches, and man-nature orientation factor which has just begun to be studied in the literature, on the behavioral intention formation process is investigated. The studies show that consumers who live in an individualistic culture, have high concern on sustainable food products, compared to collectivist consumers. In addition to this, it is observed that man nature orientation, which is recently studied in TPB, has an influence on attitude towards sustainable foods. As a result, it is seen that it will be easier to move towards sustainability with new approaches created by the consumer making a difference. Abstract: Soft skills define career characteristics such as team skills, communication skills, ethics, time management skills and an appreciation of diversity that individuals should have. In the 21st century workforce, social skills are critical in the business sector. The general feeling of employers in Turkey is that university graduates are not meeting the market expectations. The reason for this is that they have great deficiencies in soft skills. In this study, it is aimed to reveal the importance of soft skills in the workplace and to determine the basic soft skills. As a result, employers want their employees to have the necessary soft skills because the success of the workplace depends on the soft skills of the employees.
