Understanding customer preferences and identifying loyal and churn customers provides significant competitive advantages for companies. At this point, customer segmentation based on RFM analysis is widely used. RFM analysis segments customers using recency (R), frequency (F) and monetary (M) attributes. In this study, customer segmentation is presented with a case study with the actual data taken from an express delivery company.  For this purpose, firstly, k-means and fuzzy c-means algorithms are used for customer segmentation based on RFM analysis. Then, Silhoutte and Dunn indices are calculated to evaluate the clustering quality and to determine the best number of clusters. Finally, on the basis of the obtained cluster centers, strategic analysis is carried out and churn and loyal customers are determined. Two separate data sets, consisting of quarterly and monthly data covering the period 2013-2022, were analyzed. Seah et al. (2014) a regression model they developed was adapted for Turkey. In this model, an autoregressive error mechanism is used as well as macroeconomic variables, and the past dependence of prediction errors is taken into account. Since the analyzed models are non-linear, parameter estimations are performed with the ML estimator. It has been observed that increases in income level and interest rates decrease the default rate of credit cards. On the other hand, an inverse relationship was found between the inflation rate and the default rate of credit cards. Whether inflation rates increase or not, credit card default rates will not increase unless the economy enters a recession. It is predicted that the default rates may increase if the economy shrinks and unemployment rates increase. It has also been determined that the estimation errors show a strong and positive dependence to the past. The phenomenon of social housing, which stands out especially in terms of meeting the housing needs of low- income and disadvantaged groups, attracts more and more attention both in the literature and within the scope of public and private projects due to the consequences of neoliberal policies. In this research, to discuss the place of the spatial planning tool in determining the social housing and social mix policies for the future through social housing needs and problems; evaluation of spatial phenomena by considering not only physical, but also economic, social and cultural dimensions and clarification of the relationship between the spatial planning tool and social housing and social mix practices were aimed. Although there are studies investigating the relationship between social housing, social mix and spatial planning in the international literature, a limited number of studies have been found that deal with the three elements together. In Turkey, however, a limited number of directly related studies dealing with this relationship have been identified. At this point, it is considered important to disseminate studies that examine the contribution of spatial decisions to social housing and social mix policies in more depth.   Journal: Eurasian Business & Economics Journal Pages: 1-16 Volume: 32 Issue: 32 Year: 2023 Month: Feb DOI: 10.17740/eas.econ.2023-V32-01 File-URL: https://eurasianacademy.org/index.php/busecon/article/view/1273 File-Format: Application/pdf Handle: RePEc:eas:buseco:v:32:y:2023:i:32:p:1-16 Template-Type: ReDIF-Article 1.0 Author-Name: Hüseyin YAZICI Author-Email: huseyinyazici@stu.aydin.edu.tr Author-Workplace-Name: İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi Author-Name: Mustafa METE Author-Email: mustafamete@aydin.edu.tr Author-Workplace-Name: İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi Title: Mediator Role of Leader-Member Exchange in the Effect of Positive Voice Behavior on Organizational Trust in Healthcare Professionals Abstract: Organizations today are beginning to realize the importance of listening to employees, caring for them, rewarding them, establishing open communication and applying differentiated management styles. It is seen that the employees supported in this way provide positive added value to the organizations they are in. In addition, these values enable employees to have more confidence in their organizations and leaders. In this direction, the desire to make a sound is also increasing. The period of supporting the members of the organization can be done through the leaders. The level of leader-member interaction is very effective on these values. The aim of this study is to examine the mediating role of leader-member exchange (LMX) in the effect of positive vocal behavior (PVB) on organizational trust (OT) for 271 health personnel working in the Ataşehir branch of the chain hospital serving in Istanbul. As a result of the regression analysis, PVB variable significantly affects the OT variable positively (β=0.683, p<0.01). LMX variable has a significant positive correlation on OT (β=0.911,p<0.01). PVB variable was positively and significantly correlated with LMX variable (β=0.708,p<0.01). Finally, LMX and PVB variables were found to be significantly associated with the OT variable together. Since the coefficient value of the PVB variable decreased but was significant (β=0.614), the LMX variable plays an effective role as a “partial mediator”. Thus, hypotheses H1, H2, H3, and H4 were confirmed.
