This study analyzes, within the framework of Metzler's open economy model, the effects of changes in propensity of investment and propensity of consumption of an importer country on the export volume of the trade partner country, and the impact of the importing country's fiscal policies on the exporting country's national income level, in an international trade relationship. Through econometric models developed according to these criterias, it is tested if the fiscal policies of importer trading partners, which have a significant share in the export activities of trade partner countries, have international effects on the exporting country by using econometric models where Türkiye is the exporting country and the total economy of EU member countries is the importing country. In this time series analysis, impulse-response analysis and variance decomposition method are used. The empirical analysis demonstrated that changes in the total consumption and total investment levels of European Union countries affect Türkiye’s export volume, and that the cumulative effects of EU fiscal policies spread to the Turkish economy through foreign trade, causing changes in Türkiye’s national income level. The analysis, conducted using monthly data covering the period 2005,1–2026,2, includes a financial stress index calculated and incorporated into the model. This comprehensively examines the effects of vulnerabilities in financial markets on macroeconomic variables. The findings indicate a strong pass-through effect between the exchange rate and inflation in the Turkish economy, with exchange rate shocks having rapid and significant effects on the general price level. Monetary policy shocks, on the other hand, have a lowering effect on the exchange rate and a delayed but permanent deflationary effect on inflation. These results point to the effectiveness of the monetary policy transmission mechanism operating through interest rate and exchange rate channels. Examining the effects of financial stress shocks on real economic activity, it was determined that increased financial stress leads to a significant decrease in the level of production by contracting the credit supply. Furthermore, it was observed that financial stress has a strong interaction with the exchange rate, and these two variables tend to move together. The variance decomposition results reveal that inflation dynamics are largely explained by exchange rate and monetary policy shocks, while financial stress also plays a significant complementary role. These findings indicate a strong interdependence between price stability and financial stability in the Turkish economy. In this context, it is concluded that monetary policy implementations should be designed with a holistic approach that considers financial stability. The continuous rise in migration movements has placed significant pressure on healthsystems, particularly in terms of migrants’ access to healthcare services. In this context, migrant health is examinedfrom an economic perspective, with a focus on international support and financing models, especially EU-fundedprograms such as SIHHAT. The study explores the barriers migrants face in accessing healthcare, as well as theirhealthcare utilization patterns. It further analyzes financial support mechanisms provided by institutions such asthe European Union, World Bank, UNHCR, and WHO, alongside expenditure distribution in Turkey and financialcooperation models between Turkey and these international actors. The economic dimension of integration policiesis also discussed, highlighting the cost implications of education, employment, and healthcare, and the long-termreturn on investment in migrant services. A dedicated section examines the case of Turkey through theimplementation of SIHHAT I and II programs, supported by statistical data on the number of Migrant HealthCenters (GSMs), personnel, and service costs. Finally, the sustainability of migrant health services is evaluated interms of financial continuity, human resources capacity, service quality, and long-term public health outcomes. Academic publications produced between 2003 and 2024 werecompiled from various databases, and the structural dynamics of the field were revealed through citation analysis,co-authorship networks, keyword co-occurrence, and thematic clustering techniques. Overall, the studysystematically maps the evolution of the hybrid recommender systems literature and provides a strategic roadmapfor researchers and practitioners. The findings indicate that hybrid recommender systems have gained significantmomentum, particularly over the past decade. Initially emerging from the integration of content-based andcollaborative filtering approaches, the field has evolved into more complex and powerful models through theincorporation of deep learning, big data analytics, and artificial intelligence techniques. Moreover, these systemsare widely applied across various domains, including e-commerce, media platforms, and educational technologies.Network analyses reveal that the field is concentrated around specific countries and leading research institutions, while also highlighting the increasing trend of interdisciplinary collaboration. Keyword analysis further shows thatthemes such as “deep learning,” “context-aware systems,” “cold-start problem,” and “explainable AI” havebecome prominent in recent years. The article emphasizes that future research in hybrid recommender systemsshould focus more on explainability, ethical considerations, data privacy, and user-centered design. Additionally, the integration of heterogeneous data sources and the development of real-time recommendation mechanisms areidentified as key directions for future research.
