The analysis of large and continous data sets require further developments of existing methods. Functional Data Analysis (FDA) is an extension of multivariate statistical analysis methods which concerns with the analysis of functional structure data. The aim of this study is to introduce the general framework and the development of FDA approach, to mention the recent studies particularly on functional dimension reduction and functional regression models with a wide literature review and to present a source for the future studies. The perceived quality of service is determined by comparing the difference between the expectations of the customers before the service is received and the service they are experienced. If the expectation is lower than the actual service, this circumstance is explained as quality of service issue. In this study, problems related to the services provided in Health Institutions in Turkey, the questions about the health service are based on Life Satisfaction Survey in the Turkish Statistical Institute's 2015 and the patients' perceptions of these questions were measured by non-parametric tests and Correspondence Analysis. In this study, it is aimed to examine the selection of project success criteria belonging to Information Technologies, to determine the weights they have in decision making about these criteria and to reveal the causal relations between these criteria. The method used to determine the weights of the criteria and the causality and direction of the relations between them is the "Decision Making Experimentation and Evaluation Laboratory" (DEMATEL) which is a multi criteria decision making method. Title: Modeling Inflation Series with the Parametric and Semiparametric Transition Models and Comparison of Their Forecasting Performances Abstract: Transition models are frequently used in the modeling of nonlinear series. Until recent years, it is seen that the parametric approach in which regime transitions are approximated with well-defined mathematical functions is often used. Over the last two years, nonparametric and semiparametric approaches have also been introduced into the transition models. In this case, the transition function is estimated in a nonparametric manner. In this study, the inflation series based on TUFE (1987 = 100) for the period January 1995 - December 2008, is also estimated via semi parametric transition model in addition to the parametric approach and their forecasting performances are compared.
