An important question which has been raised in literature is of which indicators represent the institutional structure. Therefore, the aim of this paper was to determine the performance of alternative indicators when adopted by different approaches to explain economic growth. The indexes used in the analyses of the study were those which have been calculated as indicators for the measurement of institutional structure. As the paper provides comparisons between 4 different indexes with separate analyses, the results can be considered to make an important contribution to the literature related to the relationships between institutions and economic growth. The findings of this paper demonstrated a significant and different result in respect of the relationship between organizational structure and economic growth and the significance of indexes. In comparison to the Heritage index, the relationship with economic growth of the organizational parameters represented in the Fraser index and the Freedom of the Press index were determined to be stronger in terms of both statistics and expected effect for all income groups. Within the context of these results, in the comparison of the Heritage and the Fraser Indexes, which measure economic freedom using different methods and parameters, it was established that the Fraser index stands out and provides more meaningful findings in terms of the relationship between developments. As we consider this situationby manufacturers sie, the most important issue is monitoring industrial revolutions tightly. Industrial revolutions can be described as breaking points; so the manufacturers that adjust theirselves to a new environment keep alive an deven expend while outdated ones disappearing from the industry. A new industrial revolution is taking place in these days called Industry 4.0 which is classified 4th Generation in chronogical order. Developing production plans and processes innovatively by using the advance in technological field through production line effectively is defined industrial revolution. In this study, three different factories of a global company which produces were evaluated and their total productivity was calculated before and after Industry 4.0 with using basic productivity calculation methods. In the conclusion part, the numerical efficiency values of Industry 4.0 were compared and discussed and evaluated. The Eastern Anatolia Region and in particular the TRA2 region is a region where the development gap between regions is very high. The government aims to ensure the socio-economic development of the TRA2 region through investment incentives. One way of achieving the economic development of the region is to improve the export potential of enterprises through the incentives provided to the region. In this study, affecting factors of the enterprises’ insufficient export rate in TRA2 region, which consists of the provinces Ağrı, Kars, Iğdır and Ardahan in the Eastern Anatolia Region, were examined regarding their importance level. These affecting factors are: Lack of capacity, lack of sufficient information about foreign markets, domestic market saturation, insufficient resources (material, equipment, technology, capital), transportation problems, lack of market gap in the domestic sector. There is a widespread belief that the country's export power contributes significantly to sustainable economic growth. Therefore, countries are making great efforts to increase their international trade and market shares. The export revenues obtained will not only contribute to economic growth, but will also enable new investments in the country to meet the needs of infrastructure, health, education and to ensure social welfare. In this study, it is aimed to investigate the Turkey's foreign trade structure and competitiveness power comparing with the OECD countries during the period 2000 - 2009 by employing the TOPSIS method. In the analysis, nine foreign trade competition indexes are used to compare 31 OECD countries with data integrity. Selected variables or indices are widely used in cross country comparison. TOPSIS method, one of the multi-criteria decision making techniques, is used for comparison. Analysis showed that Turkey's competitiveness in foreign trade cannot show a remarkable development since 2000, but it is seen that there has been a small leap in 2009. In general, it is observed that the foreign trade balance could not be established in the all years within the period 2000-2009. Turkey has still required the important and constructive interferences in the line with export-led growth model.
