Economic activity, which cannot be observed based on the observed variables such as industrial production, employment, exchange rate, interest and price movements, current balance and change in stock market index, has been estimated. A two-step forecasting process was adopted and the period between 2005 and 2020 was analyzed with monthly data. Final factors and factor loads were calculated with alternative filters using the initial values calculated by the principal components method. In this context, Kalman filter and Kalaba and Tesfatsion?s flexible least squares estimator are used. These estimators were found to have very close estimation performances. Factor estimation reflecting economic activity showed that after the Global Crisis in 2008 and the exchange rate shock in August 2018, two important contractions occurred. It was found that the economy reached the highest expansion level in the sample period in early 2011. The studies conducted to strengthen the system have increased the importance of individual retirement. Through the effects of the retirement conditions and financial incentives applied, the individual pension system in Turkey is increasingly gaining importance. The Individual Pension System (IPS) plays an important role in eliminating the social security-related problems with the contribution of individuals to their retirement savings and transferring resources to the financial markets by directing these individual savings to investment. In this respect, it is not possible to ignore the economic impacts of the IPS in terms of its functions both for savings and investment. This study aims to examine the relationship between savings and individual pension total assets for quarterly data between 2014 Q1 and 2019 Q4, through Bootstrap Quantile Regression due to the low number of data. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the variable IPS has a statistically significant decreasing effect of 4.4% on savings. It is also aimed that to determine the effects of the consuming habits to the microbiological quality of animal based foods and to expose the correlations among the public health, consuming habits and product hygiene variables by using statistical models. For this purpose, 1600 house were visited and questions about food of animal origin were asked. Besides, one related food sample was collected from each house and all the samples were analysed for 3 microbiological parameters. According to the results we got it was determined that consuming habits individiual demographic features of the people located in Aegean region were closely related with the hygiene status of the animal originated foods that they have consumed. With the purposeful sampling method, 34 students, 12 girls and 22 boys were selected from the 6th-grade students studying in Cumhuriyet Y?BO from boarding primary schools in Tuzluca district of I?d?r province and the study was carried out with these groups. The implementation process of the study took 10 weeks. In the application process, while the subject of multiplier and multiples was taught with the STEM approach with the experimental group students, the same subject was taught to the control group by mathematics teachers according to the instructional methods and techniques in the curriculum. The researcher had no effect on the control group students. At the beginning of the application process, the first application (pretest) of the achievement test was made to both experimental and control group students. In the following 10 weeks, the activities envisaged in the research were carried out in the experimental and control groups. At the end of the tenth week, the second application (posttest) of the achievement test was made to both groups. In the study, the following results were reached: Experimental and control groups obtained a higher mean than the posttest compared to the pretest, the experimental group students obtained a higher average in the posttest than the control group students. This finding shows that the experimental process was successful. Besides, it was observed that female students participating in the study received higher averages from male students in both pretest and posttest. Female students performed better than boys during the study.
