Pre-test and Post-test control group experimental design is used in this search. The search is carried out of total 30 course hours. In order to collect data achievement test, attitude test, cerebral dominance test and interview form are used in the search. The data which are derived from the search, are analysed with Spss 17.0. In the analysing of statistical data, after searching the normality of the data t-test is used both in control and experimental group. The obtained data from the applied analyses; In the last test markings between the control and the experimental group, the success is statistically different in a clear level for the benefit of the experimental group. In the last test markings between the control and the experimental group, the attitude is statistically different in a clear level for the benefit of the experimental group.Furthermore, In the meetings it is understood that the students have positive ideas on the course practices which based on brain based learning method. ECOLOGICAL BELIEFS Abstract: The New Ecological Paradigm (NEP) scale has been extensively used to measure adults? environmental values. However, it has only recently been adapted for use with children. This paper presented the Turkish version of the NEP Scale for Children, examined its pre-psychometric properties. Besides, gifted and normal children?s ecological beliefs were compared. Exploratory factor analysis was conducted, followed by concurrent validity. Primary School Students' Attitudes towards Environment Scale was used for concurrent validity. In addition, the instrument?s internal consistency and re-test reliability were studied. Results explanatory factor analyses demonstrated that 10 items yielded three-factors, as original form and that the three-dimensional model was explained 50.21% of total variance. Factor loadings ranged from .45 to .73. In the concurrent validity significant positive relationship was found between NEP Scale for Children and Primary School Students' Attitudes towards Environment Scale. Cronbach Alpha internal consistency coefficients were found as .84 for whole scale. Moreover, test-retest reliability coefficient was .71 and corrected item-total correlations ranged from .37 to .69. In second study, gifted students? ecological paradigm scores were higher than non-gifted students?. The results were discussed in the light of the related literature. CURSIVE HANDWRITING SKILL PERFORMANCE Abstract: Abstract The aim of the study was to observe the cursive handwriting skill performances of the first graders. The work group of the research was formed of 364 first graders selected from three primary schools which were called Hasip Dinçsoy, Engin Can Güre and Cumhuriyet Primary School in Esenler district of ?stanbul province in 2010-2011. Students Turkish notebooks were investigated by ?Cursive Handwriting Scale? which is developed by researchers. In the study the first graders? cursive handwriting skill were investigated for various variables. The variables were sex, the situation of getting pre-school education. At the end of the research findings are evaluated in the other researches in education literature. Study group of the research is formed of 342 students (174 females, 168 males) studying their 2nd semester of 2013-2014 educational year in the nursery classes of 15 different preschools and primary schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, Kütahya. A 22-item science process skills test developed by the researchers, KR-20 reliability coefficient being 0.77, has been used as the data collection tool. The science process skills test includes sub dimensions of observing, inferring, communicating, measuring and predicting as the basic process skills. As a result of the analysis, a statistically significant relationship has been found between students' science process skills depending on their school environment (private or state), their parents' educational background, their preschool background, and type of the education (open or formal) that teacher had received. However, no significant relationship has been identified between science process skills affiliated with gender and mother's occupation. In conclusion, it is found that the private school students have significantly better science process skills over the state school students as well as the students who received preschool education have better over the ones who did not, and the students whose teacher had received formal education have better over the students whose teacher had received open education.
