Abstract: The relationship between income level and students? academic performance in English as a Second Language (ESL) courses is an intriguing topic among social scientists. Many researches have been conducted on this issue. This literature review analyzes these researches and their findings about the close relationship between income level and student achievement in learning English. The research paper emphasizes the effects of income inequality on cognitive, emotional and social development of people, and its effects on unequal distribution of resources. The paper explains the differences between the parental investments on education and the results in the process of acquiring second language skills. This study points out the poverty related problems for ESL learners and suggests the necessity for inclusive and contemporary solution to this problem. Title: Examining The Effect Of Educational Games On Problem Solving Skills Of 10-11 Year-Old Children Abstract: The aim of this study was to examine the effects of educational games on problem solving skills of 10-11 year-old children. Research has been designed in experimental model. In this research, ?pre- and post test, experimental design with control group? has been used. Students aged between 10-11 year-old in a junior high school in ?stanbul have constituted the population. 40 students carrying on 5th and 6th grades in the same school have constituted the sample group. Problem Solving Inventory for Children at the Level of Primary Education (PSIC) has been used to collect data. SPSS 20 has been used to analyze data. Normal distribution conformity of data has been determined by using kolmogoro-smirnov test. For all the groups, it has been found that data did not display normal distribution. Correspondingly, nonparametric tests, Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney-U, have been used to analyze data. Examined the pre- and post test results of control group, self-confidence, self-control, avoidance have been found to be p=0.253>0.05, p=0.657>0.05, p=0.327>0.05, respectively. According to these results, there has been no difference found between pre- and post test of control group. Compared pre- and post test of experimental group, self-confidence, avoidance have been found to be p=0.253>0.05, p=0.405>0.05, respectively. His vision of education, drama works, Quran interpretation, children plays, abstracts from his works, his calligraphy... still become the focus of researchers that produce science and knowledge in the 2016s. Despite the fact that he died decades ago, he left over 100 priceless works to all humanity. Part of his works has been translated into the modern Turkish to help scientists produce knowledge. Influenced by the western innovation movement, Baltac?o?lu criticized the education system of its time. He argued that innovation should take place as a whole. Descriptive Survey Model is employed in order to examine the correlation between the worry of employment levels of philosophy students from Faculties of Education and from Science and Literature, and their parent?s education level, their order of choice in YGS (Higher Education Entrance Test), and the way they satisfy their economic needs. Data is collected via the special tool developed in order to scale the teacher candidates? worry levels of their future employment. Data is analysed by SPSS 12.0 package programme by employing Kruskal-Wallis and Stepwise Linear Regression models. The results showed that there is a liminal significance correlation between the mother?s education level and student?s worry levels. Additionally, it is observed that the worry levels of the philosophy students from Faculty of Science and Letters are higher than the worry levels of other students. This study includes the first reading and writing methods Synthesis method, letters (alphabet) method, the sound (phonetic) method, the syllable method, analysis method, the word method, the sentence method (analysis) method, the story (text) method, mixed ( eclectic) given method; especially the "resolution (sentence) method" and "sound based sentence method" is discussed in detail in conjunction with their steps. Also the study contains some interesting research on the subject. The qualitative research method document review was used in this research study. The literature review was conducted by accessing resources and data relevant to the research. Books, theses and reports related to the study are examined and the data obtained was tried to be integrated in a systematic manner. Physical education lessons at school, for this reason takes part in educational programmes. The aim of this study is to determine not only secondary- school student's expectations of doing sports and involvement in sports-activities in course of physical education but also the level of the realization of their expectations. Eight high schools with 468 students (216 girls and 252 boys ) from the educational system in the downtown of Giresun took part. To reach the determined aims in this research, a questionnaire of 35 questions and 3 parts with the leading points o f the data was developed. With the selected aims of physical education and sport, were selected from the national and foreignliterature which were also found in the first education schools and high schools of the ministry and education. The validity of the prepared survey and the suitabilityof the aims ( because of testing ) were determined by taking the experts view. After required corrections were done, it was decided to increase more. The surveys were delivered to 8 high schools in the centre of Giresun that were established by the researcher. The datas that were taken by the survey were expressed and interpreted with frequencies and percentages. In comparisons x2 ( chi square ) test was done. For statistical meaning 0.05 meaning level was chosen.
