In fact that the destinations that keep pace with the travel habits of young people have become a global trend has shown the importance of youth tourism. In the research, questions on the perception of Istanbul, its challenges and the young tourists? preferences were asked. 311 young tourists were interviewed by survey method. The researcher conducted the survey in the in the Sultanahmet and Beyoglu districts and the Grand Bazaar on January 2019. According to the responses obtained from the 311 participants, it was found out that Istanbul is similar to as the people living in Istanbul encounter. Natural charm is one of the elements that make up tourism, but this can be transferred further thanks to sustainable tourism. Nowadays businesses no longer profit without giving importance to social responsibility and green practices, Green star project is one of these practices. Inspections of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism have made people to raise awareness and as a result, businesses with the environmental-friendly are given a certificate in their effort to protect the environment. In this study, five-star hotels with green star applications in Istanbul?s advantages were analyzed. First of all, the relationship between sustainable tourism and the environment is mentioned. Furthermore, green hotel management and green marketing are defined. In the scope of the research, five-star hotels in Istanbul were examined. Face to face in-depth interview technique was applied to 11 hotel managers in the working scope. According to the results of the study, all the 11 participating managers stated that green-star hotel management has great advantages. Besides providing a source of employment for the locals, tourism also ensures social and cultural development. Tourism gives local residents the opportunity to interact with tourists which in turn enables them to understand different cultures. The development of a tourism destination is closely linked to its natural beauty. Mount Nemrut, which was inscribed on the UNESCO world heritage list in 1987, plays a vital role for Adiyaman as it has attracted a large number of visitors in recent years. Mount Nemrut, located in the Kahta district of Adiyaman province, is a national park as well as a monumental site belonging to the ancient Commagene Kingdom. This study aims to identify tourist attractions in Adiyaman and to assess promotional activities in Mount Nemrut National Park. Hotel owners and managers were interviewed to figure out the most visited places by tourists in Adiyaman and to understand the main purpose of their visit. This study also aims to determine if the visits for religious purposes can be within the scope of religious tourism. The results of this study will be shared with the public enterprises and nongovernmental organisations operating in the region to increase the tourism potential of Adiyaman province and Mount Nemrut. Furthermore, it is expected that the results can be utilised to adopt a planned approach for the development of tourism in Mount Nemrut National Park and to overcome current challenges. These organizations not only protect the legal rights of individuals in the profession, but also impose some order and limitations on the profession. In Turkey, Tourism guidance law was adopted as a profession. After the professional law, the responsibilities of all individuals who actively carry out the tourism guidance profession have increased. There has been an increase in responsibilities and responsibilities of the members of the vocational chambers of guidance. So far, there have been no studies in our country on tourist guides and guide chambers relations. In this study, an area survey was carried out for tourist guides affiliated with Nevsehir Chamber of guides, and through the research, the perceptions of the tourist guides affiliated with Nevsehir Chamber of guides, the main problems areas and the expectations of the future were determined. The study also aims to contribute to the development and improvement of the relations between the member guides of the guide chambers, tourist guides and guide chambers. As of 01.06.2013, according to the tourist guides statistics, there are 13 regional guide chambers, 10189 guides affiliated to the Association of Tourist Guides. In the field of tourist guidance, there is no research on tourist guide and guide chamber relations.
