The composition and lyrics in both notes are the same. The song is performed in both forms. No data was available on whether the song was composed by the composer in two different ways, or whether it was performed in these two ways over time and has come to this day. In this paper, it is aimed to examine the relationship between the methods of Yürük Semâî and Curcuna, starting from Hacı Ârif Bey's Nihâvend song. Method, The Yürük Semai style (3 + 3) and the Curcuna style (5 + 5) consist of two equal layers in time. In this study, a work in the form of Râst makam and Yürük Semâî style, with 3 (3 + 3) forms was studied. Starting from the above-mentioned work of Hacı Ârif Bey, a method of converting the notes of this work, which was composed in 3-timed form, into 5-timed form was followed. In addition, a Türkü in Curcuna rhythm was written according to the rhythm of Yürük Semâî. Findings, The method of the work can be translated from Yürük Semâî to Curcuna without being forced. After the process, the prosody of the work and the effect it creates on the listener changes, albeit partially. Conclusion, It was concluded that "rhythms consisting of two equal equal times" such as Curcuna or Yürük Semâî can be used interchangeably. This was evaluated as the interchange of rhythms. It was concluded that the richness in the performance and sensation of the work can be created by making the transition between the rhythms in the works with such suitable rhythms.  Journal: Eurasian Academy of Sciences Social Sciences Journal Pages: 37-46 Volume: 27 Issue: 27 Year: 2019 Month: Mar DOI: 10.17740/eas.soc.2019.V27-04 File-URL: https://eurasianacademy.org/index.php/socialsciences/article/view/267 File-Format: Application/pdf Handle: RePEc:eas:journl:v:27:y:2019:i:27:p:37-46 Template-Type: ReDIF-Article 1.0 Author-Name: Tarkan YAZICI Author-Email: tyazici@mersin.edu.tr Author-Workplace-Name: Mersin Üniversitesi Author-Name: Şefika TOPALAK Author-Email: sefikat@gmail.com Author-Workplace-Name: Trabzon Üniversitesi Title: INVESTIGATION OF GRADUATE THESIS MADE WITH RESPECT FOR MUSIC EDUCATION OF THE PRE-SCHOOL IN TURKEY Abstract: The purpose of this study, which is conducted on pre-school music education in Turkey to investigate the graduate thesis. When we are kids we have the playing instinct but it gets lost when we grow up. Though we need to recall this back as a dancer for the improvement of artistic progress. My method will be starting to evaluate from children and reach to the grown-ups. I’ll explain the kids instincts of playing and will also mention the place of improvisation in playing. I will get information from the books like Creative Movement and Dance by Garcia. M.E, Plevin M., Macagno P. and improve my thesis. Other than these I’ll also talk about grown-ups spiritual health and I’ll mention the help of improvisation in this context. In result improvisation is a need. The person who improvises does her inner journey, she sees herself like she has never seen before. To improvise is a necessary technique for all dancers. Other than dancers every human being has been observed getting therapy and getting free. As a solution a person who starts dancing improvisation learns to be at the moment from the beginning. She enhances the improvisation technique. She let’s herself to play. This situation is not like theater that one recalls back the feelings and the characters she has worked on in front of the audience and present it on stage. She exists with her state, feeling and the potential of playing. This is why a good dancer needs to be a good improviser. Improvisation is immanent to stage.  Journal: Eurasian Academy of Sciences Social Sciences Journal Pages: 55-60 Volume: 27 Issue: 27 Year: 2019 Month: Mar DOI: 10.17740/eas.soc.2019.V27-06 File-URL: https://eurasianacademy.org/index.php/socialsciences/article/view/269 File-Format: Application/pdf Handle: RePEc:eas:journl:v:27:y:2019:i:27:p:55-60 Template-Type: ReDIF-Article 1.0 Author-Name: İsmail SINIR Author-Email: ismailsinir@hotmail.com Author-Workplace-Name: MSKÜ Eğitim Fakültesi Author-Name: Halil APAYDIN Author-Email: ahalil@mu.edu.tr Author-Workplace-Name: MSKÜ Muğla Meslek Yüksekokulu Title: EMPLOYING OPPORTUNITIES IN TURKISH MUSIC INDUSTRY IN THE CONTEXT OF URBANIZATION Abstract: Music industry of a city is close related to its population and development level of industry and economy. That can be sad, the music industry of metropolises of Turkey has developed highly. Nevertheless, opposite to metropolises, little cities music industries are developed parallel to its population and economic capacity. This study aims to analyze the differences between the metropolises with relatively smaller cities in terms of job opportunities in the music industry. Also this study based on interviews conducted face to face with musicians in different cities of Turkey. During the field-work a semi-structured interview form was used and totally 83 musicians were interviewed with. Differences between metropolises and little cities that mentioned above, interests the musicians directly who work in the music industry. Comparing to little cities, metropolises have a big music industry. Nevertheless, employment opportunities in the little cities of Turkey don’t seem big and various. Also these limited employment opportunities are constricted into a short period of year. The employment opportunities in the metropolises have a grand range from cafe-bars to the radio and tv programs. These opportunities also expand to all periods of the whole year quite equally. Nonetheless the musical events of the small cities of Turkey don’t have a grand range and these events are most likely consisting of wedding entertainments.  Journal: Eurasian Academy of Sciences Social Sciences Journal Pages: 61-71 Volume: 27 Issue: 27 Year: 2019 Month: Mar DOI: 10.17740/eas.soc.2019.V27-07 File-URL: https://eurasianacademy.org/index.php/socialsciences/article/view/270 File-Format: Application/pdf Handle: RePEc:eas:journl:v:27:y:2019:i:27:p:61-71 Template-Type: ReDIF-Article 1.0 Author-Name: Şefika TOPALAK Author-Email: sefikat@gmail.com Author-Workplace-Name: Trabzon Üniversitesi Title: MUSIC TEACHER CANDIDATES' ATTITUDES FOR PIANO TEACHING (CASE OF TRABZON UNIVERSITY) Abstract: In this study, it was aimed to examine the thoughts of music teacher candidates about piano teaching according to various variables. For instance, during this process students are expected to pay attention to some aspects such as using correct notes with correct length, being careful about the anticipated musical expression styles, using nice cadences in desired beat and then play musical pieces according to these aspects. Furthermore, when the necessity of correct positioning and correct finger number in guitar playing is taken into consideration; the factors which should be controlled are increasing. Thus, it is suggested for guitar students that they should carry out their playing process consciously so that they can compensate their deficiencies and faults by noticing their own requirements. This research embraces the views of the guitar students about a practice in which they try to carry out self assessment by observing their own performances during their training process. Focus group discussion, one of the data collection tools has been used in order to obtain the view point of the five students taking part in the practice in the research. The interview has been recorded with recorder then analyzed by documented. As a result of these analyses students have mentioned that they performed musical pieces and etudes more appropriate for their level, recorded their performances, conducted with different kind of materials, through mobile phones, firstly paid attention to their body gestures and then focused on their musical expressions and they also said that using video records (like looking at themselves in the mirror) are more successful than classical methods. Out of the viewpoints of the students it can be generally said that carrying out self assessment has increased their awareness, accelerated their improvement in musical expression and technical matters and through repetition proved them opportunity to make readjustment and therefore allowing them to carry out their playing process consciously by saving time.  Journal: Eurasian Academy of Sciences Social Sciences Journal Pages: 80-96 Volume: 27 Issue: 27 Year: 2019 Month: Mar DOI: 10.17740/eas.soc.2019.V27-09 File-URL: https://eurasianacademy.org/index.php/socialsciences/article/view/272 File-Format: Application/pdf Handle: RePEc:eas:journl:v:27:y:2019:i:27:p:80-96 Template-Type: ReDIF-Article 1.0 Author-Name: Şeyda DOĞANGÜN Author-Email: seydadogangun0995@gmail.com Author-Workplace-Name: İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi Title: GRAPHOLOGY AND USAGE IN RECRUITMENT PROCESSES Abstract: Changing industry approaches have an impact on recruitment processes. It has become structurally of great importance for businesses to manage their recruitment processes in a healthy way. Correct recruitment and orientation of staff has become an important productivity issue for businesses. At this point, graphology emerges as an effective method that can be used effectively in recruitment processes and can give accurate results with other evaluation criteria. Graphology (graphology) comes from Greek as of its origins, and "graphein" comes from the amalgamation of the words, writing and "logos". It is a branch of science that emerged from research on experimental psychology during the Enlightenment period. Although it dates back much earlier, the acceptance of graphology as a branch of science has a livelihood of about 50 years. The researchers agree on some issues related to the science of graphology. These are subjects such as identification of personality by graphology method, determination of intelligence level, determination of character structure, determination of what kinds of professions are more prone. Graphology is used in many scientific studies such as personnel selection and medicine. One, “the Military Keynesianism and Benoit Hypothesis” approach, explains the existence of positive effects of military spending on economic development. The Second, “The Neoclassic Approach”, explains the crowding out effect on private investment. This study investigates the effect of defense expenditures on economic growth by using panel data method for selected 21 European Union countries over the period of 2005-2017. The long term relationship among the variables was determined by second generation panel unit root tests and panel cointegration tests. The long term cointegration coefficients were estimated with Eberhardt- Bond (2009) Panel AMG method. AMG results show that defense expenditures have positive and statistically significant effect on economic growth in the long term. Moreover, the Emirmahmutoğlu and Köse Panel Causality Test (2011) results show that there is a two-way causality relationship between defense expenditures and economic growth. Empirical findings of this study provide the positive effect of defense expenditures on economic growth for selected 21 European Union.  Journal: Eurasian Academy of Sciences Social Sciences Journal Pages: 104-124 Volume: 27 Issue: 27 Year: 2019 Month: Mar DOI: 10.17740/eas.soc.2019.V27-11 File-URL: https://eurasianacademy.org/index.php/socialsciences/article/view/274 File-Format: Application/pdf Handle: RePEc:eas:journl:v:27:y:2019:i:27:p:104-124 Template-Type: ReDIF-Article 1.0 Author-Name: İnci KARADAYI Author-Email: info@gmail.com Author-Workplace-Name: Bilim Uzmanı Author-Name: Hüriyet BİLGE Author-Email: info@gmail.com Author-Workplace-Name: Celal Bayar Üniversitesi Title: EFFECT OF INNOVATION ON EXPORT PERFORMANCE IN FURNITURE SECTOR: AN EMPIRICAL STUDY ON IZMIR PROVINCE Abstract: In today's world, there is a constant change and transformation. Constructivist learning environment scale and constructivist self evaluation questionnaire were applied in quantitative part of the research. In the qualitative part, observations and semi-structured interviews with 5 of the participants created data. Quantitative data display that participating science and technology teachers have above average constructive perspective. Almost all participants reported that they had training on constructivism and they knew all techniques and instructional models of constructivist teaching and additionally they applied all they knew about the paradigm. Although they reported about a trainig on constructivist learning and teaching they also underline the necessity of additional inservice training which will increase their practice and understanding. Not surprisingly the qualitative data gathered with observations and interviews display an inconsistency between particiants’ perceptions, self evaluations and teaching experiences. Those who seem to be more constructivist turned to be least practitioners and those who were weak on the paradigm turned to be most practising participants. None of the participants reported high perception about constructivism. Data also displayed participants’ lack of knowledge and practice about alternative measurement and evaluation. One of the reflections of this wealth heritage is folk dances. In folk dance, which is one of the most important branches of folklore, where we can get all kinds of information about the life of a society, it includes the beliefs, life styles, traditions, livelihoods and social structure of the society from the costume, decoration, music and game movements. While some dances are not known and not played outside the province they are played in, some others are played in different regions with the same name and different characters. Tamzara, dello, hosbilezik, garabet, koceri played with the same name are examples. Temiraga, which is the subject of our study, is played in a very widespread geography in Anatolia. Temiraga, which is played in both bar and halay genres, has various names; Temuraga, Timur Aga, Temuraga, Demiraga. The Temiraga known as the bar folk dance in the Erzurum region, emerges with the halay genre in Erzurum Hınıs, Oltu, Olur and Şenkaya districts. It was determined that the grips were common in the bar and halay folk dances. Another common point is that the rhythm of the folk dance is 4/4. Erzurum is one of the bars that start with open grip and end with open grip. It is the only bar played with one finger in Erzurum bars. Erzurum folk dances were found to be a dance with animal imitation. Written, visual and electronic sources and literature on the subject were searched and Erzurum temiraga was examined in both bars and halay. If we consider the population growth rate of Syria especially in terms of the migration wave coming from Syria in the recent years, this figure is 19.7 per thousand according to the same report. Despite clearly it is seen that war and chaos in Syria's population is increasing much more than Turkey. Moreover, population growth is calculated as an exponential function, which once again increases the gravity of the situation. When the total number of immigrants among some of the comparable total of 4.29% of the total immigrant asylum-seekers in Turkey this rate is of 2.13% of the world's refugees can be seen that 1.23%. These figures show that over excess, if evaluated on the basis of the world for Turkey. Considering the economic impacts, it is obvious that there is no increase in production against the claim that Syrian refugees have increased the population. Likewise, there will be no increase in tax revenues. Demand for goods and services increased, but this increase was clearly reflected in inflation since there was no increase in production. It is not possible for new industrial branches to emerge and the expansion of the market does not open new investment fields but on the contrary brings a contraction in government expenditures and an increase in consumption expenditures. It is known that the wages of workers are getting cheaper.
